2026 International Symposium on Advanced Bio-inspired Materials and Precision Medicine Membrane Technology
Venue: R&D Center for Membrane Technology, Chung Yuan Christian University (No. 493, Xinzhong N. Rd., Zhongli Dist., Taoyuan City)
Date & Time: Monday, June 22, 2026
With the rising trends of an aging population and precision medicine, the R&D Center for Membrane Technology, Chung Yuan Christian University at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) host the “International Symposium on Advanced Bio-inspired Materials and Precision Medicine Membrane Technology.” The event focused on integrating “biomimetic molecular structure design” and “membrane biochemical separation technology” into the cutting-edge applications of clinical medicine and the biotech industry.
This symposium gathers a distinguished group of experts. It’s a great honor to invite top scholars from home and abroad, including Professor Kazuhiko Ishihara (Osaka University / The University of Tokyo, Japan), Professor Masaru Tanaka (Kyushu University, Japan), Professor Yukio Nagasaki (University of Tsukuba, Japan), Professor Chia-Chih Chang (National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University), Professor Ying-Nien Chou (National Chung Cheng University), and Dr. Gian Vincent C. Dizon (Chung Yuan Christian University). These masters deliver keynote speeches on forward-looking topics such as zwitterionic polymers, the intermediate water concept, and next-generation forward osmosis membranes for platelet concentration. Together, they will explore how to resolve the long-standing challenges of human immune control in traditional medical devices by mimicking biological interfaces.
Furthermore, to cultivate the international presentation skills of the next generation of researchers, the symposium features a “Student English Poster Presentation Competition.” It is hoped that through this intellectual brainstorming and cross-generational exchange, a brand-new R&D momentum will be injected into the global biomedical engineering field.
Registration Deadline: Thursday, June 11, 2026
